Happy August! We have officially gotten through seven months of the year of 2014 and for this we give God thanks and all the praise and glory! We are nearing the end of summer and some of us are going back to school, taking our vacations before going back to work. Also we have goals we have set at the beginning of the year that we are still trying to achieve before the year is out. So for this month I want us to pray for a few things. 1) Pray for Focus! Whatever goal you have set before you know that, Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me." 2) Pray that God will show you His love for you! Romans 5:8 says, "B ut God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." There is not a lover like God, and no one will ever love you as much as He loves you! 3) Pray for Patience to wait on whatever you have asked God for. James 1:2-4 (KJV) says, " My brethren, count it all joy when ye fa
