Day #31 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will recognize the lies of the Enemy in his life. I pray that his attitudes and actions will be guided by the truth as he brings his thoughts into captivity to the Word of God.  In Jesus' name I pray, Amen! (John 8:44; 2 Cor. 10:4-5) 

Day #30 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will serve God and others with pure motives. I pray that he will obey the You from his heart, and glorify You in everything. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen!  (1 Cor. 10:13; John 7:17-18; Col. 3:23-24) 

Day #29 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will surrender his time and talents to the Lord. I pray that his spiritual gifts will be manifest in his career, at church, and in your home. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen! (Eph. 5:15-16; 1 Cor. 12:4, 7)

Day #27 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will understand the importance of taking care of his body—the temple of the Holy Spirit—for the glory of God. Day #25 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will be courageous in his stand against evil and injustice, and that he will stand for the truth. I pray that he will protect me and our family from Satan’s attacks.  In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Ps. 31:24; Eph. 6:13; Ps. 27:14)

"There is a a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven."  Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV)    Many single women wonder if they're in a season, or if they will remain single forever. Even Christian women can get hung up on God's timing. If relationships move too slowly, we get frustrated. One of the exciting things about God being at the helm is that He knows every season of our life, even before it comes.    So, what season are you in, daughter of God? Are you in an autumn season? Life seems to be slowing down? Perhaps you're in a bleak winter, where potential relationships with the opposite sex seem impossible. Maybe you're entering a springtime season, where your hopes are lifting and new possibilities rise up at every turn. Or perhaps you're in the middle of summer, where everything is in full bloom.    Regardless of where you are, God is ready to meet you there. Day #23 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will be a good father—disciplining our children wisely and loving them unconditionally. Day #22 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will practice forgiveness in our relationship and with others. I pray that he will recognize any roots of bitterness, and yield any resentment and unforgiving attitudes to You. In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Eph. 4:32; Heb. 12:15)

Day #21 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will learn how to relax in the Lord and, in his greatest times of stress, find joy and peace in his relationship with God. I pray that he will  submit his schedule to the Lord. In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Neh. 8:10; Prov. 17:22; Ps. 16:11)

Day #20 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will yield his mind and thoughts to the Lord. I pray that he will not entertain immoral or impure thoughts, and that he will resist the temptation to indulge in pornography. In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Prov. 27:12; 2 Cor. 10:5)

Day #19 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future  will be patient and a man of peace. I pray that he will not give in to anger, but will allow the Holy Spirit to control his responses. In Jesus' name I Pray Amen! (Rom. 14:19; Ps. 34:14)

Day #18  Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will have an eternal perspective—living in light of eternity. I pray that he will reject materialism and temporal values and put God first in his life.  In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Matt. 6:33; Deut. 6:5; Eph. 5:16; Ps. 90:12)

Day #17 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will enjoy his manliness as he patterns his life after Christ and strong men in the faith. I pray for his physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual strength.  In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Eph. 3:16; 1 Peter 2:21; 1 Cor. 10:11)

Day #16 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband   will choose healthy, God-honoring activities. I pray that he will not live in bondage to any questionable habits or hobbies, but that he will experience freedom in holiness as he yields to the Spirit’s control. In Jesus' name I pray amen!                       Well ladies I don't know about you, but there seems to be some sort of fever going around. Everyone around me seems to be getting engaged and if not engaged married. Here I sit, in my mid twenties, single, a virgin, and it seems like no prospects in sight. Yet every time I log onto Facebook there is some newly engaged couple or someone got married once again or there are pictures of happy couples so in love. Every time I turn on the television its another romantic movie, or television show on…..             The enemy tries each time to make me feel lonely, that I am getting old, and that I will end up alone. At this point I'm asking God why hasn't my time come to love? Why hasn't my time come to have someone to call my own. Lord I've stayed true to my vow to save myself for my husband, and I have been by the grace of God been living my life for You, growing, and walking in Your word. Day #15  Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will choose his friends wisely. I pray that God will bring him men who will encourage his accountability before God, and will not lead him into sin. In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Prov. 13:20; Prov. 27:17)

Day #14 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband   will speak words that build me and our family, and reflect a heart of love. I pray that he will not use filthy language. (Prov. 18:21; Eph. 4:29)

Day #13 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband will  use practical skills to build our family and make wise decisions for our welfare. I pray that he will serve unselfishly. In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Gal. 5:13; Phil. 2:3-4)

Day #12 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will yield his sexual drive to the Lord and practice self control. Hey ladies I know I have been away for a while, but I am going to pick up right where I left off. Don't you think the modestly dressed women above are sexy? I think so, and not much skin was revealed to accomplish it. Women tend to say they dress a certain way to feel sexy, but you don't have to show the world your body and dress scantily to do so. In my last post a few months back I left you with this question, do you wear a bikini to the beach and if so why? Let me first answer the question, I do not wear a bikini to the beach because I feel that its just underwear made with a different material. I wear a one piece or tankini with shorts. Day #10 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will cultivate strong integrity, and not compromise his convictions. I pray that his testimony will be genuine, that he will be honest in his business dealings, and will never do anything that he needs to hide from others. In Jesus' name I pray Amen! Day #9 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  handles finances wisely, will have discernment concerning budgeting and investments, and will be a good steward of his money in regard to giving to the Lord’s work. I pray that money will not become a source of discord in our family. In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Prov. 23:4-5; Rom. 12:13; Heb. 13:5)

Day #8  Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will work hard to provide for our family, to the best of his ability. I pray that  the character qualities necessary for a successful career and ministry will be a growing part of his character—persistence, decisiveness, strength, an analytical mind, organizational skills, positive relationships with people, determination, etc.  In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Rom. 12:11; 1 Cor. 15:58)

Day #7 Dear heavenly Father, I pray  that my future husband will safeguard his heart against inappropriate relationships with the opposite sex. I pray that his heart will be pure and undivided when he makes his commitment to me. In Jesus's name I pray Amen!  (Prov. 6:23-24, 26; Rom. 13:14)

Day #6 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband will love righteousness and hate wickedness, especially the evils of the culture. I pray that he will recognize and avoid wickedness in his own life, and if necessary, take a clear, strong stand against evil. In Jesus' name I pray, amen!  (Prov. 27:12; John 17:15; 1 Cor. 10:12-13)

  Day #5 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband will be faithful to his wedding vows. I pray that he will have a desire to cultivate our relationship as a sign of his loyalty and commitment to me, and as a picture of Your love for the Church. In Jesus' name, amen! Day #4 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband will grow in leadership skills in our relationship—protecting and providing for me. I pray that he will lead me wisely and love me sacrificially like You loved the church, so that You will be glorified in our marriage. In Jesus's name, amen! (Eph. 5:25-29; Col. 3:19)
