Single, Saved & Waiting....................

Day #4 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband will grow in leadership skills in our relationship—protecting and providing for me. I pray that he will lead me wisely and love me sacrificially like You loved the church, so that You will be glorified in our marriage. In Jesus's name, amen! (Eph. 5:25-29; Col. 3:19) 

I just want to take the time out to wish each and every one of the followers of my blog a Happy New Year! This year I can feel God is going to do great and marvellous things in the lives of single women hungry and on fire for Him. My prayer for you this year is that you would get closer to Him and let go of all the baggage that might be holding you back to go higher in the Lord. Let's thank God for the lessons that we have all learned in 2013 and look toward our future in which He holds.  Let's continue to trust in the plan He has for our lives.  For Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) says ,  " For I know the plans  I have for you,” declares the  Lord , “plans to prosper  you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."   1)     Standards can vary for different occasions. (e.g., a formal spaghetti strap dress at a wedding is more modest than a spaghetti strap top at the movie theater). Age Comments 15 Occasion is the wrong word, setting is a better word. In the living room of your own house, without any guests, sisters could probably wear almost any thing without being immodest, although their actions will still have to be modest. Outside of the home I don't think there should be a difference of standards. 18 I have questions about this. I personally have been bothered by some of the wedding dresses I've seen recently. I think I will encourage my future fiancée to choose a dress that is beyond reproach, with no possibility of causing someone to stumble. ...
