Prayers for the Month of February

Good morning to you all, I just pray that the 31 days of praying for your future husbands has been refreshing and it brought you closer to God as it did for me. It has made me trust in Him more while waiting on the one He has in store just for me. It brought a sense of hope knowing that my future husband is coming soon. Happy February to all and this month the spirit laid on my heart to prayer for/against three things this month. As we all know this month is the month of love, but the Holy Spirit said that we as single women waiting should concentrate on: 1) Praying for Strength Let's remember that in 2 Corinthians 2:19 it says, " And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness." So let's continue to prayer for strength in this season in our lives. 2) Praying for Patience Isaiah 40:31 says, "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew theor strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, ...

31 Days of Praying for Your Future Husband.....Day #17

Day #17 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will enjoy his manliness as he patterns his life after Christ and strong men in the faith. I pray for his physical, emotional, mental, social and spiritual strength.  In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Eph. 3:16; 1 Peter 2:21; 1 Cor. 10:11)

31 Days of Praying for Your Future Husband.....Day #16

Day #16 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband   will choose healthy, God-honoring activities. I pray that he will not live in bondage to any questionable habits or hobbies, but that he will experience freedom in holiness as he yields to the Spirit’s control. In Jesus' name I pray amen! (1 Cor. 6:12, 10:31; 2 Tim. 2:4)

31 Days of Praying for Your Future Husband.....Day #8

Day #8  Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will work hard to provide for our family, to the best of his ability. I pray that  the character qualities necessary for a successful career and ministry will be a growing part of his character—persistence, decisiveness, strength, an analytical mind, organizational skills, positive relationships with people, determination, etc.  In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Rom. 12:11; 1 Cor. 15:58)

Why Should I Wait On God?

Yet another friend gets engaged or married or even starts a new relationship. And yes you are still alone, waiting…. I have had a peace that passes all understanding, putting total trust in Him and His plan for my life. Yes I long to be in love, be married, have kids and live happily ever after, but I remember a verse that a mother in my church always encouraged me with. It says in Matthew 6:33 (KJV), “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” This verse says ALL things, not some, but ALL things will ...
