Single, Saved & Waiting....................

Blessings to all!  I hope everyone has been doing well and hope this short piece encourages you. When you are single and you stand in so many weddings you always hear this saying, "Always A Bridesmaid, Never a Bride." Now a days it doesn't even matter if you stand in many weddings, you may be just attending many weddings of friends jumping the broom. In any event, you are never the bride and sometimes we in our single states are happy for our friends to see how in love they are, but we also sometimes allow the enemy to allow us to become jealous and the self righteousness starts to come out. Why couldn't it have been me ?  She  hasn't been obedient to your word Lord ? She hasn't been keeping herself pure for her spouse ? Father their not even saved ? Happy June ladies! We are at the midpoint of the year! Thank God for sparing our lives to make it this far! We know that prayer is the way that we communicate with God and we know that prayer changes things! Mark 11:24 (NIV) says, " Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours." So there are a few things the spirit has laid on my heart that I think we should pray on this month! 1) Pray against the spirit of jealousy and envy. Lately there has been so many of my friends and colleagues getting engaged and married and here I am still single, and waiting and sometimes you may envy their relationships. Remember that it will happen in God's time and not ours! Solomon said in Proverbs 14:30 (KJV), " A tranquil heart gives life to the flesh, but envy makes the bones rot." So let's preserve our bones and be happy for our friends and colleagues as they embark on important journeys knowing that Go...
