31 Days of Praying for Your Future Husband.....Day #19

Day #19 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future  will be patient and a man of peace. I pray that he will not give in to anger, but will allow the Holy Spirit to control his responses. In Jesus' name I Pray Amen! (Rom. 14:19; Ps. 34:14)

Prayer Requests

For the past few weeks I have been receiving prayer requests for certain things and I have been praying but I want us all as believers to join on one accord and pray for these requests. Pray for comfort for those who are brokenhearted, grieving or who are feeling the spirit of loneliness. Let’s pray for God to wrap His loving arms around them and let them feel His presence near and allow His peace to just rest upon them.  Let them keep their minds stayed on Him because the Bible says that those whose minds are stayed on Him will be kept in perfect peace! Pray for healing for those who are sick or who may be awaiting test results, lets pray in the name of Jesus that by His stripes they are healed! Pray for God to reveal His purpose and plan He has for our lives and allow Him to guide our footsteps because the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord. Pray for the spirit of focus/discipline on whichever season God has us in our lives or whatever task He has given us to...

Why Should I Wait On God?

Yet another friend gets engaged or married or even starts a new relationship. And yes you are still alone, waiting…. Waiting for your happily ever after, waiting on your prince charming, waiting, as we singles say, to start life. But are we truly waiting on God? Wait is defined by Webster’s dictionary as, “to remain stationary in readiness or expectation, to stay in place in expectation of.” As was stated in my last post over a week ago, I let it go and have totally given God full control over the area concerning my love life. I have had a peace that passes all understanding, putting total trust in Him and His plan for my life. Yes I long to be in love, be married, have kids and live happily ever after, but I remember a verse that a mother in my church always encouraged me with.
