As I sit and look at the picture above and meditate on what God has placed on my heart. It makes me wonder what Christianity has come to. Everyone is a Christian now days. Yet when you look at their actions and the life that they are living, in no way does it reflect Christ. It seems that in today’s society all you have to do is say that you are a Christian and you are one, but you can go on living life the same way as the sinner in the world. You can get drunk, party, sleep around and do pretty much anything but you are a Christian. However, Matthew 7:20 says, “ Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.”  So when someone proclaims Christianity I always look at their actions, the way they carry themselves, how they treat people etc. to see if they are truly a follower of Christ. In doing research for the topic of modesty, I stumbled across this very controversial survey, The Modesty Survey. The Modesty Survey is an anonymous discussion between Christian guys and girls on the topic of modesty. Apparently hundreds of Christian girls contributed to the 148-question survey and over 1,600 Christian guys submitted 150,000+ answers, including 25,000 text responses, over a 20-day period in the year of 2007. Usually you would think this is a dream come true for Christian women to be able to pick a Christian man’s brain on such a controversial issue. Initially in 2007 it was a hit and now the women who had contributed along with other men who had participated in the survey now feel that it was the worst thing that they could have done.
