Prayers for The Month of March

Happy New Year to all! I pray God's richest blessing for you this year! I know I've been absent for a few months, but I have been transitioning. I just finished my degree and applying for jobs, and working in my local church has kept me busy. However, you have always been in my prayers.  We are already in the third month of the year and we have gone through one of the longest month of the year, January. We have also gone through the Valentine's Day month of February. Whether you had a valentine or not, you had Jesus, which is the greatest valentine anyone can have.  As you know we always need to pray, and always have so many things to pray for. My church is starting a cooperate fast today leading up to Good Friday and I would encourage you all to jump on the bandwagon. As we pray and fast let's concentrate on praying for our governments as well as concentrate on allowing God to really change us and mold us after Him and to be more sensitive to His voice. ...

Prayers For The Month of November

Good morning to all, Sorry I have been away for a while but I am back! I pray that September and October have been good months to you. This is the month of Thanksgiving as many tend to call it. We have so much to give God thanks for. Just being alive is a blessing!  For the month of November I want us to concentrate on corporate prayer. You may ask well what is she talking about? Corporate prayer doesn't need to be a gathering of saints praying together. No, corporate prayer is about you standing in the gap for someone. There are many prophets in the Bible who did this and we can look at the story of Habakkuk. He was one of the minor prophets in the Bible who had no sin, but prayed and begged and pleaded God for mercy, forgiveness and restoration on behalf of his people who were in exile in Babylon.  God dropped in my spirit that we need to take time to prayer for others and not just ourselves. I have been guilty of this as well. So this month let's prayer ...

Prayers For The Month of September

Happy September! I know its been years since I have posted, but I am back and better than ever! Still going through my trials, but trusting and depending on God. I hope you all have been well! For the month of September, I want us all to concentrate on praying for our unbelief. Did she just say unbelief? Yes I did. But you may say what is she talking about? I believe in God. A friend of mine pointed out to me just how much unbelief I truly have when we were talking about a situation I was going through. And I sat back and thought, "Wow, I really do have unbelief." It was an ugly truth. Because the word of God clearly says that without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6).  The dictionary defines unbelief as, "the state or quality of not believing." Unbelief also represents two Greek words,"apeitheia," which means disobedience and "apistia," which means distrust. So when we exhibit unbelief we are not believing God, ...

Prayers For The Month of November

Happy November! I know I have been gone for a while. School has been so hectic this semester, but I have still been praying for you all and I am so happy God has used me to touch so many people out there to keep them encouraged while they are in they waiting period! This year has gone by so quickly....we are in November already and next month it will be Christmas time. For this month God has laid on my heart that we should pray for three things: 1) A hunger, thirst and desire for the things of God!  " As the deer  pants for streams of water,  so my soul pants  for you, my God. " Psalms 42:1 (NIV) 2) To trust in Him fully, surrendering all to Him, withholding nothing!  " Trust in the  Lord  with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) 3) To increase our faith! " But without faith it is impossible to please him: for h...

Prayers For The Month of August

Happy August! We have officially gotten through seven months of the year of 2014 and for this we give God thanks and all the praise and glory! We are nearing the end of summer and some of us are going back to school, taking our vacations before going back to work. Also we have goals we have set at the beginning of the year that we are still trying to achieve before the year is out. So for this month I want us to pray for a few things. 1) Pray for Focus! Whatever goal you have set before you know that, Philippians 4:13 says, "I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me."  2) Pray that God will show you His love for you! Romans 5:8 says, "B ut God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us." There is not a lover like God, and no one will ever love you as much as He loves you! 3) Pray for Patience to wait on whatever you have asked God for. James 1:2-4 (KJV) says, " My brethren, count it all joy when ye fa...

Prayers For The Month of July

Happy July ladies! We have to give thanks to God, we have made it through half of the year of 2014! In this month ladies, I know the ongoing engagement and wedding frenzy continues…We just have to continue to trust God and wait on Him! So for the month of July ladies I want you to pray for a few things. 1) Pray for Patience to wait on whatever you have asked God for. James 1:2-4 (KJV) says, " My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations;   Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.   But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing." 2) Pray that you will continue to trust God and stand on His promises. For Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) says, " Trust in the   Lord   with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." 3) Pray for a heart like Christ. Pray that you could have a heart that is full of ...

Prayers for the Month of April

Happy April ladies! We are officially in the month where we commemorate the Lord's death and resurrection. It is so important to reflect on such an historic event because without Christ dying for our sins and loving us so much we would not have the abundant life, the many blessings and access to Him because of this event. For this month I want us not to only reflect on Christ's death and resurrection, but to pray for these three things: 1) Pray that we will learn to trust God and give EVERYTHING, and not somethings over to Him. For me it was one of the hardest things to do in my walk with God because it is hard to give over all control and not know what is going to happen ahead. But when we decide to accept Him into our lives we must submit to His will, His way and the plans He has for our lives and in order to grow and increase our faith in Him we have to trust Him more.  “Therefore I tell you, do not worry  about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, w...
