Happy April ladies!
We are officially in the month where we commemorate the Lord's death and resurrection. It is so important to reflect on such an historic event because without Christ dying for our sins and loving us so much we would not have the abundant life, the many blessings and access to Him because of this event. For this month I want us not to only reflect on Christ's death and resurrection, but to pray for these three things:
1) Pray that we will learn to trust God and give EVERYTHING, and not somethings over to Him. For me it was one of the hardest things to do in my walk with God because it is hard to give over all control and not know what is going to happen ahead. But when we decide to accept Him into our lives we must submit to His will, His way and the plans He has for our lives and in order to grow and increase our faith in Him we have to trust Him more.
“Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?" Matthew 6:25-27 (NIV)
2) Pray that we will continue to wait patiently for the promises that God has given to us whether they be plans for a job, spouse, school, whatever they may be let's continue to wait!
"But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint." Isaiah 40:31 (KJV)
3) Pray that we will trust in God's timing! I know it is hard and I know we sometimes loose faith and wish God can work in our time! But let's put our unknown future in the hands of a known God!
"Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is." Jeremiah 17:7 (KJV)
Love you all! Let's remember that we must continue to pray! This is a spiritual warfare we are fighting! My prayers are always with you!
