Single, Saved & Waiting....................

Good morning everyone, As you know on my Facebook page and on my twitter I am always encouraging everyone to share their testimony if they have one and Val emailed me hers and it was truly a blessing! Remember that in Revelation 12:11 it says that we overcome by the words of our testimony. I hope you are blessed as much as I was by it: Hi, My name is Val Walton. I saw your tweet about sharing my testimony, so I thought I would share. I was a runner. I would train hard for races. I was up at the crack of dawn, training and running all over Birmingham, AL, for the October 2011 Marine Corps Marathon that I would ultimately run with a dear friend. I also was disciplined in getting my miles in for my half-marathon training and making my long runs. God used an injury and 1 Corinthians 9: 24-25 and Acts 20:24 to show that I was like most runners devoted, disciplined and going hard after a crown through running that would not last and, before God, had no eternal value when I was not goin...

Day #23 Dear heavenly Father, I pray that my future husband  will be a good father—disciplining our children wisely and loving them unconditionally. If he does not become a father in our union, I pray that he will find a young man to mentor in the things of the Lord. In Jesus' name I pray Amen! (Eph. 6:4; Col. 3:21; 2 Tim. 2:1-2)

For the past few weeks I have been receiving prayer requests for certain things and I have been praying but I want us all as believers to join on one accord and pray for these requests. Pray for comfort for those who are brokenhearted, grieving or who are feeling the spirit of loneliness. Let’s pray for God to wrap His loving arms around them and let them feel His presence near and allow His peace to just rest upon them.  Let them keep their minds stayed on Him because the Bible says that those whose minds are stayed on Him will be kept in perfect peace! Pray for healing for those who are sick or who may be awaiting test results, lets pray in the name of Jesus that by His stripes they are healed! Pray for God to reveal His purpose and plan He has for our lives and allow Him to guide our footsteps because the steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord. Pray for the spirit of focus/discipline on whichever season God has us in our lives or whatever task He has given us to...
