What Season Are You In?

"There is a a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven."
Ecclesiastes 3:1 (NIV)

Many single women wonder if they're in a season, or if they will remain single forever. Even Christian women can get hung up on God's timing. If relationships move too slowly, we get frustrated. One of the exciting things about God being at the helm is that He knows every season of our life, even before it comes.
So, what season are you in, daughter of God? Are you in an autumn season? Life seems to be slowing down? Perhaps you're in a bleak winter, where potential relationships with the opposite sex seem impossible. Maybe you're entering a springtime season, where your hopes are lifting and new possibilities rise up at every turn. Or perhaps you're in the middle of summer, where everything is in full bloom.
Regardless of where you are, God is ready to meet you there. He alone knows when the seasons will shift- but when they do, watch out! Change is ahead. Flexibility is key as you make the transition from one season to another. Don't give up, and don't let confusion or fear kick in. Trust God. He's the creator of the seasons.
Prayer: Lord, I'm not always sure what season I'm in. And things do seem to be changing..a lot. Just about the time I think relationships are going in one direction, they shift. Today I give You the many seasons of my life. Walk me through them...hand in hand.

Prayers For The Month of November

Happy November! I know I have been gone for a while. School has been so hectic this semester, but I have still been praying for you all and I am so happy God has used me to touch so many people out there to keep them encouraged while they are in they waiting period! This year has gone by so quickly....we are in November already and next month it will be Christmas time. For this month God has laid on my heart that we should pray for three things: 1) A hunger, thirst and desire for the things of God!  " As the deer  pants for streams of water,  so my soul pants  for you, my God. " Psalms 42:1 (NIV) 2) To trust in Him fully, surrendering all to Him, withholding nothing!  " Trust in the  Lord  with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." Proverbs 3:5-6 (KJV) 3) To increase our faith! " But without faith it is impossible to please him: for h...

Prayers For The Month of April

Happy April! I am so sorry I have been away for a while, but I am back by the grace of God. School got extremely hectic, but my thoughts and prayers were always with you! It's amazing how the page has received so much views and attention! Thanks for your support! So as we know this is the month that we commemorate the death, burial and resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ! We think about the love that kept Him on the cross for you and me. So for the month of April I am asking that we pray for three things: 1) Patience so that we can wait on God's timing. " But if we hope for what we do not see, we wait for it with patience."   Romans 8:25 (ESV) 2) The love of God. Christ died just for me and you because of love, let's pray to be His hands extended and show that love each and every day! " But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. " Romans 5:8 (KJV) 3) A spirit of gratef...

Testimony by Val Walton

Good morning everyone, As you know on my Facebook page and on my twitter I am always encouraging everyone to share their testimony if they have one and Val emailed me hers and it was truly a blessing! Remember that in Revelation 12:11 it says that we overcome by the words of our testimony. I hope you are blessed as much as I was by it: Hi, My name is Val Walton. I saw your tweet about sharing my testimony, so I thought I would share. I was a runner. I would train hard for races. I was up at the crack of dawn, training and running all over Birmingham, AL, for the October 2011 Marine Corps Marathon that I would ultimately run with a dear friend. I also was disciplined in getting my miles in for my half-marathon training and making my long runs. God used an injury and 1 Corinthians 9: 24-25 and Acts 20:24 to show that I was like most runners devoted, disciplined and going hard after a crown through running that would not last and, before God, had no eternal value when I was not goin...
